Kunstenaar Johann Hamza (1850-1927)




Oostenrijkse kunstenaar, een schilder. Hij schilderde portretten en genre scènes uit het leven van de aristocratische samenleving in de luxe interieurs of tegen de achtergrond van het architectonische landschap, het voordeel van de Rococo stijl. Geboren in het stadje Telc, Tsjechië. Studeerde bij E. von Engert in de Weense Academie van Beeldende Kunsten. In 1879 - 1890 zijn werken tentoon hij op tentoonstellingen in Wenen, Dresden, München en in Londen, waar in 1891 ontving een gouden medaille. Door de kunstenaar in 1880 in Wenen was er een bloeiend genre schilderij. Zijn werken zijn meestal klein in omvang, hebben een enorme vraag in zijn leven, en op het moment zijn erg populair in de antiekmarkt.

Masterpieces Lorenzo Lotto



Lorenzo Lotto (ital. Lorenzo Lotto, 1480-1556) - one of the greatest Venetian painters. Unable to compromise in the works, and in the spiritual, Lorenzo Lotto lived troubled lives and often experience financial difficulties. Not adjusting to the prevailing tastes Lotto traveled in search of customers who could understand and appreciate his work. After a brief period of success, he was forgotten and ridiculed in Venice. At the end of the XIX century (1895) Lotto was reopened to the public art historian Bernard Berenson. According Berenson: "To understand the sixteenth century, Lotto learn is as important as to know Titian."

Among other works Lotto devoted religious subjects, - a large painting "The Holy Family with St. Catherine of Alexandria» (Sacra Famiglia con santa Caterina d'Alessandria) (1533), written, but not for the church, but as a way of praying for a private individual . This masterpiece by Lorenzo Lotto in Bergamo stored in Carrara Academy. Everything is unusual in this composition, built on an asymmetrical arrangement of the figures, which violates the usual scheme of the image of the plot, but makes to work extraordinary dynamics.
